“SMILE” SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ is implementing a project co-financed by the European Funds. “Development of a new business model in SMEs related to the internationalization of SMILE Sp. z o.o. ”
under Measure 1.2 Internationalization of SMEs of the Operational Program Eastern Poland

As part of the project, a business model for the internationalization of SMILE Sp. z o.o. The business model is related to the introduction of small household appliances to foreign markets, e.g. Germany, France, Spain, Ukraine, Belarus

The business model will include in particular:

analysis of the company’s export possibilities by examining the company’s products and assessing the company’s competitive position on foreign markets,
researching foreign markets and identifying target markets and their prioritization, as well as identification of potential contractors on foreign markets;
the concept of entering a foreign market along with a projection of sales opportunities on a selected foreign market,
indication of the most effective marketing and promotional tools and methods (including the indication of trade fair events or directions of trade missions),
recommendations for the reorganization of the enterprise and its preparation for export activity (in the field of production organization, marketing and promotion, trade and pricing policy, export department, logistics, etc.),
proposals of possible sources of external financing of export activities and financial instruments reducing export risk (export credits, surety and guarantee funds, subsidy funds, forward transactions, etc.)

The aim of the project is to increase the company’s competitiveness on foreign markets by developing a business model for the internationalization of the company’s products, in particular small household appliances. Thanks to the implementation of the project, we see the company’s opportunity to enter foreign markets, and thus increase sales and increase the company’s revenues by 10-15%. The applicant operates in the Eastern Poland macroregion.

Eligible expenditure: PLN 12,500.00

Co-financing: 80%

Project 1.2 of OP IE – Stage II

SMILE SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ is implementing a project entitled “Implementation of a new business model in SMEs related to the internationalization of SMILE Sp. z o.o. ” co-financed under the Operational Program Eastern Poland, Priority axis 1 Entrepreneurial Eastern Poland, Measure 1.2 Internationalization of SMEs

I. Objectives of the project

The project covers preparation for implementation in Smile company of a new business model of internationalization developed in Stage I. The business model is related to the introduction of small household appliances to selected foreign markets: Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus. These markets are the most promising, according to the analyzes carried out in developing the Internationalization business model.

The following activities will be carried out under the project:

1. Advisory services in the field of:

Search, selection and then establishing contacts with foreign partners
Preparation of the product to the needs of the target market (including, inter alia, marketing research on the target market
Building distribution channels and service channels for the formal and legal environment
Preparing a plan for a detailed promotional campaign, designing advertising and promotional materials, web application pages
Packaging design, catalog design and technical descriptions of products, designing logos and product brands
Creating regulations for services, product guarantees and other documents
Obtaining protection of industrial property abroad
The presented activities related to professional consultancy in the field of comprehensive introduction of the company to foreign markets constitute a very good basis for the preparation of a specific promotional offer. For this reason, SMILE representatives plan to additionally hold four economic missions for specialized trade fairs:

1) China “Canton Fair” – spring edition, Guangzhou

2) China “Canton Fair” – autumn edition, Guangzhou

3) Turkey “Zuchex” – Istanbul

4) Germany “Ambiente” – Frankfurt

Economic missions are aimed at broad promotion of the Applicant’s products and meetings and establishing contacts with potential contractors.

II. Planned effects

The main design goal is to introduce the SMILE brand to foreign markets and win them with selected innovative products. All activities under the Business Model of Internationalization will lead to making business partners aware of the quality of the products and services offered. The promotion strategy will be largely based on showing achievements on a developed market such as Poland and having a strong producer position.
